Wedding with a White and Natural Theme at Château du Bois de Sanzay

Wedding with a White and Natural Theme at Château du Bois de Sanzay

Amélie and Alexandre sealed their union at the Château du Bois de Sanzay. Surrounded by 200 guests, the couple celebrated their love in a beautiful setting, where every detail was meticulously planned. Here’s a look back at a ceremony filled with emotions.

An ideal setting for a dream wedding

Located in the Deux-Sèvres department (Route du bois de Sanzay, 79290 Saint Martin de Sanzay), the Château du Bois de Sanzay offers an idyllic setting for exceptional celebrations. Nestled in a green oasis, this historic venue hosted Amélie and Alexandre’s wedding in a chic country atmosphere that captivated all the guests.

Infrastructure designed for the occasion

To accommodate guests and ensure the smooth running of the festivities, several infrastructures were set up :

  • The main sailcloth tent measured 14m x 26m, providing a spacious and elegant area for dinner and dancing.
  • A 8m x 13m pagoda tent was dedicated to culinary preparations, ensuring high-quality gastronomic service.
  • A floor was installed under both tents, offering extra comfort for guests and facilitating movement and dancing.
  • A 45m long wooden walkway created a polished entrance leading directly to the tents. Inside the château, a 4m x 8m stage on two levels was set up, ideal for speeches and evening entertainment.

Elegant and refined decorations

Amélie and Alexandre’s wedding was enhanced by carefully selected and installed decorative elements. The floors of the tents were beautifully draped to provide an impeccable finish, while decorative pole covers mimicking curtains were placed under the main tent, adding a touch of elegance to the overall setup. To conceal technical elements, decor hides and a catering partition were also created, maintaining a harmonious aesthetic.

A photobooth backdrop, along with a table plan support, provided guests with a spot to gather and capture memories. The stage was carefully dressed to integrate seamlessly with the rest of the decor. Finally, suspensions under the silhouette tent created a warm atmosphere that delighted all the guests.

Logistics and services by Atawa

Atawa provided a comprehensive service that significantly contributed to the success of the event. The Atawa team managed all logistical aspects, including the installation of a generator and complete management of the electrical distribution, ensuring an uninterrupted event. They also took care of the delivery, installation, and rearrangement of furniture and tableware for the various moments of the wedding, including the cocktail reception, dinner, evening dance, and brunch the following day.

Special attention to details

One of Atawa’s undeniable strengths was their focus on even the smallest details. The decor was designed to reflect the theme chosen by the couple: chic country. The decorative elements, such as the decor hides, photobooth backdrop, and catering partition, were dressed in a green toile de Jouy print, matching the napkins and tablecloths. Golden nails were also added for the table plan hangers, bringing a touch of sophistication and refinement.

A ceremony marked by conviviality

The wedding began with a convivial cocktail, allowing guests to mingle and enjoy the beautiful setting of the château. The dinner, served under the main silhouette tent, was, according to guests, a remarkable gastronomic experience. The evening then continued with music on the stage set up inside the château.

The next day, guests gathered for a brunch that beautifully concluded this festive weekend, allowing everyone to extend this moment of conviviality.

The setting of the Château du Bois de Sanzay, combined with thoughtful decor, well-organized logistics, and carefully considered details, enabled the couple and their guests to experience authentic and memorable moments.
